New Radiation Transport Code Capability (09/01/2011)
Scientic has acquired a licence for the code FASTRAD.  With this code Scientic’s radiation scientists can develop models quickly, analyze shielding effectiveness, and supply input to  Monte Carlo radiation transport codes in a cost effective manner.
 
Component Engineering Support for NRL's NPOESS MIS Program (01/01/2011)
Scientic is working with  the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.  to provide Parts, Materials, and Processes Engineering; and Space Environments Survivability support for the Microwave Imager/Sounder (MIS) Satellite program.
 
Component Engineering Support for CAA's JMAPS (11/01/2010)
Scientic is working with  the Comtec AeroAstro in Asburn, VA  to provide Parts, Materials, and Processes Engineering; and Space Environments Survivability support for the Joint Milli-Arcsecond Pathfinder Survey (J-MAPS) program.

NASA Phase I SBIR tilted "1 Gbit Nonvolatile Memory" teamed with Ohio State University.

Air Force Phase I SBIR titled "Strategically rad hard Star Tracker" teamed with Comtech Aeroastro.

MDA Phase I SBIR titled "Radiation Hardened Point-of-Load Converters" teamed with Vanderbilt University.

 
HEART Society

At the 2011 HEART Conference in Orlando, FL a Scientic Employee was nominated and  elected to a three year term  on the HEART Society Steering Committee as Member-at-Large.
